Full weekend at The Workshop

In addition to our weekly Exploring Creativity Classes and Open Studio hours, we have some really neat classes this weekend. Come over and check them out!

Creative Kids (ages 2-5 years), Friday, April 11, 10-11am: The theme for April is "fun with shapes". Explore 5 different art stations for as long as you like. At 10:30, we'll do a group activity with a book and game if the children want to participate. If they prefer to do more projects, that's fine too. The cost is $4 for the first child, $2 for each additional child.

 

Linoleum Block Printing, Saturday, April 12, 1-3: Learn how to carve a fun and easy linoleum block design and print it out. No experience necessary. All supplies provided. Instructor: Amy Knipschield. Class fee is $15. Materials fee is $5.

 

Introduction to Watercolors, Sunday, April 13, 2-:30pm: This is a foundation class that teaches the principles of color. We will focus on the basics of color mixing as it applies to watercolor as a medium. This class will work on tone, value, and layering of color. The goal of this class is to learn these foundational principles of color which will then serve as a strong base that will be applied to future art making. Instructor: Kelsey Curkeet. Class fee was $20--mention the April Special and take the class for only $15, materials included.
