afterschool art class
Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:15pm
Class in a wide variety of art media. Emphasis: Drawing, painting, mixed media, 3D & sculpting, textile fiber art, printmaking techniques.
All ages welcome. Participants must be 6 years old to attend without an adult.
Cost is $14.50/class plus tax or $70/6 class pass plus tax.

February 24—Yarn Painting--Create a landscape scene by gluing different colored pieces of yarn to canvas.
Tues, Mar 3—Castle--Create a castle structure with paper tubes and boxes. Decorate with paint, flowers, buttons, etc.
Tues, Mar 10—Dog collage--Use a geli plate to create monotype printed background paper. Add black and while book pages to make a dog.
Tues, Mar 17—Hanging paper sculpture--Design a colorful sculpture by looping and folding strips of paper.
Tues, Mar 24—Bunny portrait--Paint a portrait of a bunny on a canvas with acrylic paint.
Tues, Mar 31—Beaded egg shaped suncatcher--Use beads and wire to make egg shaped suncatchers for Easter decoration.
