afterschool art class
Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:15pm
Class in a wide variety of art media. Emphasis: Drawing, painting, mixed media, 3D & sculpting, textile fiber art, printmaking techniques.
All ages welcome. Participants must be 6 years old to attend without an adult.
Cost is $14.50/class plus tax or $70/6 class pass plus tax.

Tues, May 5—Oil pastel honeybee--Use bubble wrap and acrylic paint for a honeycomb background. Add honeybees with oil pastels.
Tues, May 12 and Fri, May 15—Paper lanterns--Glue tissue paper and dried flowers to decorate paper lanterns. Add details with paint.
Tues, May 19—Foam carving and printing--Etch designs on foam trays, roll on paint, print designs.
Tues, May 26 and Fri, May 29—Coffee filter poppies--Create a display of poppies with coffee filters and watered down paint.
